Data refresh fails at merge of SQL Azure & Sharepoint List data

My scheduled refresh is failing consistently at a merge step which combines data from two wources.

I orginally built this power query in power bi desktop with associated reports.  I've published this to powerbi.com and created dashboards.  It pulls from two sources, a SQL azure database and a sharepoint list on an internal team share, with all appropriate permissions granted.  It refreshes fine in power bi desktop.

However the query cosistently fails (and fails to refresh) at the merge step in powerbi.com which combines two queries. The merge combines data from the existing query and a second query.

The primary query that is failing has data from SQL Azure, and it also contains a merge step combining with an the results of the second query.  It fails consistently at this step.

The second query - called 'Index' - pulls data from a sharepoint list.

This sharepoint list data pull in the second query has no problems on its own when it creates the 'index'.

The error message in the 'shceduled refresh' UX is : "Information is needed in order to combine data",

I supect this is the sharepoint list access credentials, or perhaps data privacy settings - which should be set at 'organizational' for both queries..  I see no affordance in powerbi.com to adjust privacy settings.

I need to get this data set refreshing in powerbi.com.  Can you help?

Thanks,

Patty

I have the same issue. I'm using odatafeeds agains two different organizations. It works if I use only one source, but if I mix them I get the error. Please vote on this to give this attension: https://support.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi/suggestions/9920508-error-information-is-needed-i...
