Data Source with R

I am unable to import excel using R Script in Power BI.

Below is the code I am trying to execute:

library(readxl)
dataset <- read_excel("C:\\Users\\sumit.gupta5\\Desktop\\Loan.xlsx",sheet = "Sheet1")

and below is the error I am getting:

Details: "Exception of type 'Microsoft.Analytics.Modules.R.ErrorHandling.RException.Primitives.NotValidRDataException' was thrown."

Please help !

Hi @Anonymous ,

From your description, I'm afraid that your function is incorrect.

df <- read_excel("<name and extension of your file>")

Please refer to this blog which introduce for us how to Reading and Importing Excel Files into R step by step.

Best Regards,

Cherry
