Create and update excel table

Hello,

I created an excel table in a file and read Data from my ADO query into the table. that worked fine. I needed to change the name of the excel file. Did that and updated the flow steps to point to the new file. But data gets created and updated in the old file.

Seems my flow does not recognize the new file. Has anyone run into this?

Hi @Syndicate_Admin ,

I would recommend using 'Move or rename a file using path'. As 'Move or rename a file' is tracked by the unique identifier of the file. That's why your flow runs successfully the first time, but fails after then because Flow cannot find previous file id any more.
