Cleaning SFDC Object Refreshing & Power Query relationship

Hi!

Sorry if this is a dumb question but, I'm relatively new to importing data from Salesforce.

Question: I have some SFDC object data importing on a daily refresh & am curious as to if I start deleting columns in power query of the SFDC data that I don't need, will this make subsequent refreshes not possible? If so is there a way to only import certain columns from SFDC instead into PowerBI?

Thanks!

Any subsequent transformation will not have any impact on refresh. Hence, if you remove few columns, it is not going to impact your refreshes.

This architecture is valid for all not only for Salesforce.
