Cannot sign into Gateway

Installed Gateway on new server and was promptet that I could move existing to new server. I choose yes and after that it's no longer possible to sign in from old or new server....

Do you use Proxy in your scenario? If you use Proxy, please follow the guide in the articles below to configure proxy.
Configuring proxy settings for the On-premises Data Gateway
Problem of Proxy network when installing Power BI On-premise Data Gateway

In addition, please uninstall gateway completely, reboot your machine and re-install gateway, then check if the issue still occurs.

Uninstall and reboot seemed to resolve it. Might also have had something to do with changes made on the AD in the meantime 🙂

I just had the same issue. I did not reinstall it yet because the gateway is running on a server which can't be shut down during worktime. I guess the problem was that the user who registered the gateway does not have a Power BI licence anymore. But I think it would be greate if I could just change the user to a new one. The error occured while trying to sign in to the gateway with a different user (who does have a licence).
