Cannot connect to MySQL database

I am using the latest PowerBI version and have installed the latest version of MySQL Connector on Windows 10. but when I try to connect the data I receive the below error. What could be the issue?

I can successfully connect to MySQL database in the latest version of Power BI Desktop. Have you tried to reboot your machine?

Moreover , do you use 64 bit or 32 bit Power BI Desktop? In your scenario, make sure that the connector you install matches your Power BI Desktop installation (32-bit or 64-bit). If the latest version of MySQL Connector still doesn’t work as expected after checking bit version, download previous version of MySQL connector following Stulle2612’s suggestion in this thread.
