Auto-Updating an Excel file from Dynamics NAV using PowerQuery

I thought an Excel file I was counting on being updated would be but had to manually update it. As of now, it grabbed its data from a month old update it did from NAV when we created the file. I set up the option in DATA ->UPDATE EVERYTHING - > UPDATE EVERY x minutes. I have set this to even 5 minutes and no luck.

Does it have to do something with credentials? I don't have a NAV account here, but my boss does, and I was the one who told him to set up the Excel file like that.

Either way, i need this file to constantly be pulling info from the NAV to see if there's something new to add. Is there no way?

Hi @Syndicate_Admin

Because your connection mode is import, when you import the data to power query, when the data source update, you need to refresh manually in Power query,  becase when you import the data, the data will be stored in the AS engine of power bi desktop, it will not connect the data source, so if your data source changed, you can only refresh it manually, or the data will not refresh in the Power BI Desktop, you can refer to the following link.
