PowerBI - How to retain data structure inside of a single column

Hi All

Smartsheets has an app inside of PowerBi for automatically importing data where you can simply right click and refresh on the Data panel, as required. This is Brilliant. I am having issues with the following problem:

When you 'get data' from PowerBi, you lose your data structure indicated with either a "+" or a "-" symbol which is inside of a single column. Does anybody know how to retain the single column data structure, so that for example in this instance, you can filter by project type 'BTK' inside of a single column? Currently it's raw data for a single column.

I hope that make sense.

Many thanks

Connect to a version of your source that has more of a flat table. If you're connecting to SmartSheets there should be a way to make an non-grouped/pivoted view and connect to that.

Power BI likes "flattened" datasources.
