I would like to report an issue I encountered in the latest version of Power BI related to the OData.Feed connector.
It appears that query filters are not being applied correctly during data retrieval. For example, when using a date filter such as:
?$filter= datetime'2023-01-01T00:00:00'
the expectation is that only records from January 1, 2023 onward will be returned. However, the query is actually retrieving all records from the data source, ignoring the defined filter condition.
This behavior suggests that the filter is not being applied to the source (i.e., query optimization is not occurring as expected), which can lead to significant performance issues and unnecessary data loading.
Could you please help investigate this, as this behavior has also started occurring in the Power BI online.
