This report dives into the OECD Global well-being data. For my report I chose to focus on 3 key domains of well-being and present 3 measures for each domain. Each measure shows the global average with a dynamic, color coordinated SVG progress bar. Below the progress bar is the trend by year that uses anomaly detection to find possible explanations for deviations from expected values. Each section has a table that displays the observed values for each country, sorted highest to lowest. Selecting a country will cross-filter the svg and the trend to the chosen country.
Users can select the domain button at the top to enable a sleek dropdown that allows for changing the domain. Each domain has a dynamic background color and accent image. The titles and subtitles of the page and the visuals are dynamic as well with the subtitle color changing to compliment the background color.
On page 2, I focused on key areas of gender disparity to show the gaps between averages across countries for males and females. These charts use the small multiples feature and also have dynamic titles and subtitles to better explain the disparity.
Thank you to the organizers and judges and a big thank you to my fellow competitors who made it such a stiff competition.
Until next year!

Congrats on a well-deserved win! I didn't get to see the competition, but heard you only had 20 minutes? This is very impressive for such a short amount of time!
