Try out building a quick and easy demo using sample real-time data in Microsoft Fabric, and experience the power of real-time intelligence through a no-code user interface and development environment. Microsoft Fabric is a SaaS data platform, unifying data science, data engineering and data analytics.
In this Demo we use the new Microsoft Fabric Real-Time Intelligence environment to create an event stream using the NY Yellow Taxi sample data with a high data frequency. We do not make any real-time transformations in the event stream. Next we add a sink, the Event House. Inside the event house we have the KQL DB, which will have the table for the real-time data. We also make the data available in the OneLake via Delta Parquet format. We finally connect to the KQL DB, via Power BI and publish the report to the service to check if data updates in real time. Within 20 minutes, we have built a real-time end to end solution, to demonstrate the real-time capabilities in Fabric.
