back button removing filters
Hi all,
I've found that navigating to a "more details" page and then pressing the back button on that "more details" causes the original page to lose all of my original filters.
Any fix for this? I'd like my filters to be retained when i click the back button.
thanks,

Hi,
try to go to the bookmark pane (View group) and click three dots (...) on your bookmark, then deselect "data".

I would recommend using selected visuals and select specific visuals only to be a part of the bookmark which will solve your issue.
I have done this to a lot clients myself :)

Hey Anonymous ,
Can you please describe your scenario in more details? How do you natigate to a more detailed page? are you using drill throug?
In addition can you please provide info on the device and app you are using (iOS, Android, App version)?
Are you connected to Power BI cloud service or PBIRS?
Thanks, Maya

I have this question too mshenhav. Here is the scenario...say you have a dataset of patient records and you have developed a page that allows you to select from various attributes of those patient records, i.e. age, diagnosis, physician, insurance, etc. etc.. Also on that page you have a table of all patient ids that meet the selection criteria. You then have a page 2 that is a series of analyses that are applicable to a single patient. You set the drillthrough field to the patient id and so you can winnow down the dataset on Page 1 according to various attributes you choose, then right click on one of the patient ids in the table and view the single record that meets your criteria on page 2. All fine so far.
However when you Ctrl-Click the back button on Page 2 you return to Page 1 with all the selections you made gone. So you have to do them all over again. The closest I've been able to come to he desired behavior is bookmarks, i..e to set a bookmark on Page 1 before you jump to Page 2, but you have to remember to do that and you either have to edit all the bookmarks or delete then, which is tedious.
Syncing slicers here is also not the answer, slicers are limiting and ugly. I want the user to be able to select from pie charts, etc. All of which works fine in the forward direction, but is gone when you go back.
I hope that helps and I hope there is some solution to this.
Edited to add: I did not realize the original post was posted to the Mobile Apps area. My scenario has to do with PBI desktop and PBI service.
