Windows Store: Power BI for Presentation mode stops during slideshow-mode after a couple of hours

We had prepared a PC where the App starts a slideshow from page to page and it cycles for ~4 hours and after that the slides won't change anymore and the view of the app stops usually on the last pag...

    hey Chris_Schaedler ,

    The team is working on enabling slideshow support through Power BI add-in for PowerPoint, which we expect to have ready early next year. With Power BI add-in you will be able to utilize PowerPoint slideshow and infinite loop and integrate content from multiple reports and from additional sources in one presentation and slideshow.

    Hey Chris_Schaedler ,

     

    Yes, that is the work we are currently doing - allowing users to ask the add-in to automatically refresh its data every given interval.

Last I heard is that the Windows app is deprecated and pulled from the store.  Find alternatives.
