Tooltip on Android showing white space
Hi PowerBIIBM,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.
From your description, the tooltip is rendering correctly on Desktop and iOS but showing extra white space on Android devices. This behaviour is due to how report page tooltips are rendered in the Power BI Mobile and is a known limitation rather than an issue with your data or visual configuration. On Android, tooltips are displayed within a fixed container, which can introduce additional padding or unused canvas space.
To minimize this behaviour, ensure the tooltip page size is set appropriately use Tooltip size or reduced custom dimensions so there is no unused space, and simplify the tooltip layout by removing extra padding or unnecessary visuals. You can also validate the report in Mobile layout view for better alignment and confirm the app is updated to the latest version.
If the issue persists, it is likely due to current platform limitations, and there is no direct setting to fully eliminate the extra white space at this time.Best Regards,
Abdul Rafi

Thanks for the clarification. It looks like an Android app limitation, not a report issue. Keeping the tooltip page compact is the best workaround for now.

Hi davidwarner344 ,
Thank you for the confirmation. I'm glad the root cause has been identified as an Android app limitation, and keeping the tooltip page compact seems to be the best workaround at this time.
