PowerBI Matrix View - Can't Sort the Column

Hi,

 

Matrix View is powerful, but I can't sort the Column in the Grid in (Windows Store/iOS App and Desktop Designer), I can only sort the Grand Total Column.

 

Is this how it is ? is there a way to fix this or I have to wait for the next update?

    Same story on Android app. Works in the service so looks like a limitation of the app environment right now.

    Folks I came to the conclusion that the best thing is to design an additional dashboard specifically for the mobile apps. Say you have a Dash1 make a Dash1iOS and in it limit the level of detail as it will be consumed only on a phone. Of course test it out that it will show everything you want when you click the specific tiles. If you/your boss notice something on Dash1iOS you want to explore further you can then log in and see everything online. Kind of like you see Mobile Site or Full Site when you access some websites!

    Hi Dat,

     

    I can sort the column value (both individual fields and grant total) by simply clicking the column heading. I'm using PBI desktop

      Are you sure? I created a matrix with employees on rows, months on columns and expenses on values and then tried to sort by a certain month and it just selected that column.
