Helper IIIMobile Power BI : How to refresh company data through Direct Query
Hi Guys,
If using Mobile Power BI apps then how to connect to company DB since Mobile apps is installed under personal device and out of company network.
So I logon the Power BI apps with email and password then couuld really see the reports only for those with .csv data source, then a report using direct query cannot be shown on my mobile (iOS).
Anyone knows how to resolve this issue ?

Based on the error message, it says your gateway can't connect the server. Please verify the server name and credential you provide it correct on Power BI Service. And make sure your Gateway is online on that server.

I used the Power BI mobile apps to open but the report keeps loading for a long time , i can show reports with .csv data source, but when i use reports with datasets i have this problem

My error is display on my personal mobile connect to the company database to get the data, do you mean if the gateway installed successfully on my laptop i.e. using Power BI Services then the report publish to the cloud then download to my mobile could see the result ?
I have not yet successfully install the gateway on my laptop due to the company network policy.

Yes, you need to install the gateway on the computer/server where hosts the data source so that the Power BI Service can reach the data source from Cloud to On-Premise.
