Map on iOS not showing data when clicked

Hi everyone - I built a map into one of my reports using the "Map" visual.  Everything works in the desktop app as well as when published to the service.  When I open the mobile app on iOS, I can see all of the points plotted on the map, but when I click them, nothing happens.  It doesn't show any of the relevant data that the service shows including the actual lat/long coordinates.  Is that the way the map works or am I missing something somewhere?

Thanks alot.

    Hey sfalk781 ,

To pop tooltip with datapoint info, you need to long press the point. Can you try that?

    Thanks, Maya

mshenhav I tried long press, short press, doublepress and nothing seems to make a diference.  I also tried zooming it in but nothing there either.  I tested on iOS iPad, iPhone and Android on a note phone.  Any other thoughts?

        Hey sfalk781,

Which map visual are you using? Can you attached a sample PBIX report with the issue?

        Thanks, Maya

    HI sfalk781,

Did you work with online connection or offline cache mode? AFAIK, live content not work when you work with offline mode.

View your data offline in the Power BI mobile apps#limitations

In addition, what type of map are you test? Power bi has a few map type visuals, it is hard to confirm which visual you worked on from your description.

BTW, any special rules or policies that enabled on your network? They may block the power bi requests when you interact with these visuals and loading corresponding data.

Anonymous I didn't do anything offline because the only issue was on the mobile device.  Everything works on the desktop and when published to the service.  I don't know of anything precluded on the network.  I was using the "Map" visual on the 4th row down under visuals.

    HI sfalk781,

Any update on this scenario? If that is the case, you can share the app version to help other users to know the version that fixed the issues.

Thanks for asking - there's no change.  I've tried to click on it, long press it, zoom in/zoom out and nothing works to show the actual data behind the point on the map.  Currrently working on version 22.
