Issues setting up Power BI mobile app
Hello Everyone,
I was tasked with setting up Power BI mobile app for access from external network with MFA enabled, i followed the following article to set the whole thing up:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/mobile/mobile-oauth-ssrs
Everything works fine when accessing the app from the internal network, however, when trying to sign in externally, I can reach the ADFS page and i do receive an OTP via text message correctly, but after signing in i receive the following error from the app:
"There was a problem signing in to the server. Please check the server configuration. The network connection was lost. The network connection was lost."
I followed the above article to the letter and everything seems to be set up correctly, has anyone faced this issuse before? any help is appreciated
thanks in advance

Hi Anonymous ,
Did your ADFS server have forms authentication enabled on the Intranet?
Please follow the steps below to enable forms authentication:
Open ADFS Console.
Click on Authentication Policies.
Click on Edit Global Primary Authentication.
In the Intranet box tick Forms Auhtentication.
Click OK.
Forms Authentication should now be enabled.
And in order to investigate this further and assist you with a proper resolution, please check your ADFS log and take a look at these threads:
Using OAuth to connect to Power BI Report Server and SSRS
Connect from Power BI Mobile to SSRS using OAuth
Configure Azure MFA as authentication provider with AD FS
Publishing Applications using AD FS Preauthentication
