Hi All,
I tried to test the barcode reader functionality of Power BI and I might missing something.
I read the following article and followed the steps:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/transform-model/desktop-mobile-barcodes
Now when I scan the barcode the report is automatically found, because this is the only report in my Workspace with a Barcode Category, however the repot is not filtering to the scanned item.
Now strangely the barcode filter icon is not coming up either for Filtered or non-Filtered.
The barcode is a 128Code.
I added the barcode field as a Report Filter and I also added the Barcode field to the visuals.
I might missing a set up on my report.
Please can someone advise on this issue?
Thank you.

Hey @Anonymous ,
Can it be that the report IS filtered by it does not show up in the filter pane? the app has a known limitation of not showing the barcode in the fitler pane, but report itself is filtered.
Can you double-check that please?
If this is not the issue, can you please send us email to mpbisup@microsoft.com, with the following:
1) platform details (iOS, Android)
2) app version
3) PBIX report file with demo data
Thanks, Maya
