Hi,
in order to get/read data from on-premise PostgreSQL and MySQL sources, will these features be implemented?
I want to highlight on-premise source concept.
Thanks

Hi @pmscorca
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric community forum.
Microsoft Fabric Mirroring currently does not support on‑premises PostgreSQL or on‑premises MySQL as source systems. At present, PostgreSQL mirroring is supported only for Azure Database for PostgreSQL – Flexible Server, as documented in Microsoft Learn:
For on‑premises environments, native mirroring support is available only for SQL Server, which can be mirrored into Fabric using the On‑Premises Data Gateway. While Microsoft continues to expand Fabric Mirroring capabilities as highlighted in Fabric Blog updates and announcements from Microsoft Build 2025What’s new with Mirroring in Fabric at Microsoft Build 2025 | Microsoft Fabric Blog | Microsoft Fabr... there is currently no official roadmap or public commitment confirming future support for on‑premises PostgreSQL or MySQL mirroring.
If access to data from on‑premises PostgreSQL or MySQL is required today, supported ingestion approaches such as Fabric Data Factory pipelines with the On‑Premises Data Gateway or CDC‑based incremental loading into a Lakehouse or Warehouse should be used instead.
If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out and we'll be glad to assist.

Microsoft Fabric Community Support Team.
Hi @pmscorca ,
in addition to this post. I solved this with Open Mirroring. Idea to implement this as a new feature is a good one. I vote for it too.
On my YouTube channel, you can find a video about Open Mirroring and PostGre SQL.
However, it's in German 🙂
I hope this help.
Best regards
Rene

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Please vote this idea, thinking to an on-premise source, not Azure one:
Mirroring of data from PostgreSQL into Fabric - Microsoft Fabric Community
Moreover, please vote also this idea:
Mirroring for on-premise MySQL source - Microsoft Fabric Community
Thanks
Hi @pmscorca
I have voted for your idea. As it receives more community support and additional votes, Microsoft may take it into consideration for inclusion in future feature updates and roadmap planning.
Community feedback plays an important role in shaping enhancements within Microsoft Fabric, so increased engagement can help bring greater visibility to this request.
