I have a report published to the Power BI Service. I recently updated it (re-published a new version). I noticed that "Word Wrap" on the column headers had been disabled, for both "Table" and "Matrix" visualizations.
After some testing, I reproduced the issue. Here is what is happening:
- Weeks or months ago, I created a report in Power BI Desktop. It has as "Power BI service" live connection to a dataset in the Power BI Service. It has "Word Wrap" enabled on the column headers of all "Table" and "Matrix" visualizations. I published it to the Power BI Service.
- Now (and, I think, since the last several days), I modify the report in Power BI Desktop; re-publish it; and update the app. "Word Wrap" is still enabled, and working, when I look at the visualizations in Power BI Desktop.
- However, after publishing the new version and looking at the report in the Power BI Service—either in the workspace or in the app—"Word Wrap" is not working on my column headers.
- But there's a workaround: if I open the report in Power BI Desktop again, and for each visualizations, turn "Word Wrap" off; then turn "Word Wrap" on again; then re-publish the report and update the app; it "fixes" it. Now, "Word Wrap" is working again when I look at the report in the Power BI Service.
Of course, I don't want to have to do this for all my published reports, when I make the next update. It would be very nice if this could be fixed, please! Thanks.
