Title in text box not showing in PowerPoint export

Hi Power BI,

I've been facing this issue for a few months - also found it reported by another user here - see entry by Kudhawan. 

Not sure if you know of this issue, or if there's something that I'm missing - can someone help me out? 

Steps 

Insert text box

Edit title 

Shows on Power BI Desktop &  Service

Issue - upon exporting to Power Point, title not displaying - please see image attached.

Hi Yaso,

This is by design. Please refer to this official documentation. The editable text boxes in PowerPoint don't have any titles. You can see it from the snapshot.

The workaround could be adding the title in the Text boxes body.

If you still want this feature, please submit an idea here.

Hi Dale@v-jiascu-msft, that works a treat! I tested having the title in the textbox itself and can format it to appear different from body. Export to PowerPoint and walla, it is there! It did come out with a different colour and middle align but this is a step up from before.
