Tile Slicer Data Label formatting

It seems that if you add a Data Label to the Tile Slicer it does not get the column/measure formatting.

I created the below tiny data set as an example:

I then created a tile slicer with Slicer column, and put the Amount as the data label.

You can see in the below screenshot that even though I set the decimal places to 0 and added commas, neither formatting options are showing up in the data label.

Status: Investigating

Hi @michaelu1 ,

Based on the above information, It's a reproducible issue.

I would suggest opening a Support Ticket, the Ticket Support Engineer will report this issue to the product team for you. If you are a Power BI Pro or Fabric licensee, you can create a support ticket for free and a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you.
It would be great if you continue to share in this issue to help others with similar problems after you know the root cause or solution.

@v-xiaoyan-msft I submitted the ticket, thank you.

I am curious though, isn't this the forum for submitting issues? Especially since this is a reproducible bug why would this require a separate ticket?

Community Support

Hi @michaelu1 ,

Unfortunately, due to bug feedback process adjustments, community support engineers no longer have the authority to report directly to the product team. We will test the issue raised by the user first and after ensuring that it is a reproducible issue will recommend the user to open a support ticket. If the issue is not reproducible or after our testing it is not an issue, we will first help the user to resolve the issue within the community. Thank you for your understanding.
