Subscriptions suddenly stopped working (sending messages as scheduled)

Hello,

I have couple of reports for which I would like to receive an emailed report every day,

I have subscribed for these reports, and past week I have received every day the expected report. But this week, starting from Monday - complete silence - no report.

I have rechecked my subscriptions ans seems ok. If I use the "Run now" button will run/send the email. But why stopped to be automatically sent as scheduled?

An Exchange trace does now show any message from the "PowerPlat-noreply@microsoft.com" this week - only the past week.

Is there any way to "debug" this service?

Kind Regards,

Lucian

Hi @Lucian

How did you set the Frequency value for the subscribe? If it's based on the data refresh, please go to Refresh History check refresh records.

Recently there were few changes done in Power BI email templates, please look for emails from new alias (PowerPlat- noreply@microsoft.com) as they might go into spam/junk folder. Also please check if your organization has blocked this new alias.

Hello @v-qiuyu-msft

Thank you for your time to answer my question.

Here are my settings, that ar identical to all 3 reports:

Frequency: Weekly (just for working days)

No junk mail, as I said in the previous message I even check with the Exchange team to trace my messages and were not found by new sender or the subject, they even give me the entire list of messages received for past 7 days. So the message did not reach our Exchange server.

Strange enough, after 3 days of "silence", today I have received the reports as scheduled.

I have even check for refresh errors asuming that if data isn't changed the system will not send the report, but all refreshes were succesfull.

Any way to "debug" or check an system log for Power BI?

Kind Regards,

Lucian

Hello,

Without any changes in scheduling, for the last week everything worked as expected, so I guess was "someting in the clouds"... 😁

Case closed for moment.

Kind Regards,
