Subscription Check

Hello, 

 

I believe Power Bi should have a way to check subscriptions before they are sent out. Examples of things that should be checked for:

- Did the data load? Meaning if it shows loading circles or if it is just blank why would that email be sent out?

- Do all user still have an active license? There is a check when you initially set up the subscriptions, but a lot can change with licesnes in a year so check tomake sure all is still up to data and let the owner know you were unable to send an email to a specific person.

 

If the these type of checks fail, then it would be nice to be notified and or not send the email until these things can be fixed.

Currently Power BI does not support such features, you can mention your requirements to the Ideas forum . If a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
