Slicer Search Text Disappearing for Custom Sorted Data after Hide/Show

Do you mean the field added into slicer is custom sorted by other field?

Yes. We are using another field as a ranker to effectively create a custom sort.

What do you mean "hide" the slicer, "show" the visual? Please provide detailed repro steps.

Sorry. This was misleading wording. By "hide" and "show" the slicer, I am refering to using the functionality found on the Selection Pane.

The wording should have read  "hide the slicer, and then show the slicer?" All action revolves around a single slicer, no other visuals are used.

Click Drop Down:

Type Text in Search Bar (List is filtered):

Hide the Slicer using Selection Pane:

Show Slicer using Selection Pane:

Bug. When using drop down again, the search text is gone, but slicer selectiosn are still filtered. This is misleading to users.
