RLS not working properly for users with multiple roles

I have a big semantic model with RLS set up.

Some users have multiple roles. It used to work very well and used to result in a union of what they are allowed to see based on the roles.

Now for whatever reason a user that has 2 roles, can't see everything he is supposed to see based on 1 of his roles. I can test it by checking a report in service with view as role and view as user. This is very confusing. Please advice!

Did anything change in the way RLS work with the june release?

Hi @Olala

There is no known issue related to this, what do you mean by I can test it by checking a report in service with view as role and view as user ? Can you describe in detail what you mean? Are you getting the right results from the Desktop test?

, I see indeed that combining 2 roles results in a wrong result, and I figured that the problem occurs in measures that use crosssell command

it is the same on desktop.

Role 1:  I see nothing

Role 2: I see 7164

Role 1 + role 2: I see 6153

This behaviour is with measures using crossfilter

Hi @Olala

Based on your description , the problem seems to be with the measures you are using . Can you provide samples for reference? Or avoid using measures with crossfilter?

Avoiding measures with crossfilter- well it is still a valid DAX formula, right?

Besides it used to work ok!
