Some of our measures will only be calculated properly against a subset of related tables. If the proper perspective isn't used (limiting related tables) then the measures could be added to a report in a way that generates misleading or meaningless numbers.
Perspectives need to be used to limit the available tables for report builders, (in addition to report users). The "personalize visuals" experience is insufficient since it doesn't apply to report builders.
