Power BI Desktop disconnected VPN and Network

Hi,

I am using company's laptop with the April2022 version Power BI.

While opening Power BI Desktop, the company's VPN or Internet network disconnected. I have to close Power BI and reconnect Wifi network to recover. 

I've tried https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Report-Server/Power-Bi-Desktop-with-Reporting-Services-May2021-Disc...

But it did not work.

Is there any idea to solve it? Thank you.

Agree with the comments that Power BI Desktop should not affect you network by default.

Perhaps you can contact your IT administrator to check your network status or whether there is some white list for your company netwotk settings.

Or you can update Power BI Desktop to the latest version(June 2022) to check it again first.

I have the same issue. And I have tried all the fixes but they don't help. 

When I have PBI Desktop open it will randomly disconnect my wifi. Very frustrating. Our IT dept also cannot find a fix. 

Please help!

I've updated to Jun 2022 version but the problem remains. Opening PowerBI disconnects wifi or VPN or both.
