AADSTS50011: Fabric MCP Redirect URI missing from Microsoft's app registration (3f021233-1542-41f0-8
Hi Microsoft Fabric Team, We are encountering a sign-in error when trying to use the Fabric MCP connector. The error is not on our tenant side — the app registration belongs to Microsoft. Error Code: AADSTS50011 Full Error Message: "The redirect URI 'https://global.consent.azure-apim.net/redirect/fabricmcp' specified in the request does not match the redirect URIs configured for the application '3f021233-1542-41f0-8faa-ca8aca37ace'." Details: - App ID: 3f021233-1542-41f0-8faa-ca8aca37ace - Missing Redirect URI: https://global.consent.azure-apim.net/redirect/fabricmcp - This application is NOT registered in our Entra tenant — it belongs to Microsoft This means the redirect URI needs to be added by Microsoft on their side in the app registration for the Fabric MCP application. Requested Action: Please add 'https://global.consent.azure-apim.net/redirect/fabricmcp' as an allowed redirect URI in the Microsoft-owned app registration (App ID: 3f021233-1542-41f0-8faa-ca8aca37ace). Thank you.
Images on first page of embedded report flicker and disappear
I have an Image URL visualization which shows an image of the company that is selected in a slicer. It is live on https://www.talkingengagement.ca/municipal-culture-indicators All my images are publicly hosted URLs, in the right format. They all work except for the first image that loads by default. That image flickers in and out, and sometimes disappears completely. The data responds perfectly to the slicer, the flickering problem is only with the image. I tried to troubleshoot by changing the image, changing the number and order of companies in my data; the problem is always with whichever image is loaded first. In powerBI Desktop and MyWorkspace, everything is fine. The problemarises when the report is embedded, on all browsers. The problem is intermittent
Fabric Lakehouse Shortcut does not refresh Variable Library target after active value set change
I am using a Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse shortcut whose target is configured through a Variable Library variable. The Variable Library contains separate value sets for Dev and Prod. In the Prod workspace, the Prod value set is active and contains the correct target Lakehouse/path. However, the shortcut still points to the Dev target even though the Prod value set is active. When I open the shortcut configuration in the Lakehouse UI, edit the shortcut, and save it once without changing the actual value, the shortcut immediately resolves correctly to the Prod target. This makes it look like the shortcut target is cached or materialized and is not automatically refreshed from the currently active Variable Library value set after switching value sets or after deployment. The Variable Library value itself seems to be correct, because manually editing and saving the shortcut fixes the issue without any real configuration change. Expected behavior: A Lakehouse shortcut that uses a Variable Library variable for its target should always resolve to the value from the currently active value set in the workspace. If the Prod value set is active, the shortcut should point to the Prod target. Actual behavior: The shortcut continues to point to the Dev target although the Prod value set is active. Only after manually editing and saving the shortcut does it resolve to the correct Prod target. Impact: This is risky for deployment scenarios because a Prod Lakehouse shortcut can still reference Dev data until somebody manually opens and saves the shortcut. This can lead to accidental use of data from the wrong environment. Workaround: Opening the shortcut configuration and saving it once seems to refresh the resolved target. However, this manual step is easy to miss and not suitable for reliable deployment or CI/CD processes. Has anyone else seen this behavior with Lakehouse shortcuts and Variable Libraries? Is this a known limitation, a caching issue, or a product bug?
Power Bi Login nao funciona
Pessoal, boa noite. O problema acontece exclusivamente no Power BI Desktop. Obrigado!
Data Warehouse - Restoring to restore point via API - Fabric UI bug
As part of our CICD deployment pipelines (using GitHub workflow), pre deploying our 3 Data Warehouse dacpacs, we call the Fabric API to create restore points for each. If there are any failures during the dacpac deployments, we call the Fabric API using a service principle (which has admin access to the workspace), to restore to these restore points we've just created. This restores it back to the correct restore point, however when we then open the warehouse in the fabric UI and open the restore points list, it throws the following error and the list is blank: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'displayName') I can still call the Fabric API to list the restore points of the warehouse and it returns the correct list, it's just not accessible through the Fabric UI. Seems to be a Fabric UI bug, as the restore points we are creating look perfectly valid (see the CICD Deployment one below). { "value": [ { "id": "[redacted]", "displayName": "Restore point", "description": "", "creationMode": "SystemCreated", "creationDetails": { "eventDateTime": "2026-06-10T11:37:57Z", "eventInitiator": null } }, { "id": "[redacted]", "displayName": "CICD Deployment 20260610-132753", "description": "Restore point created before DACPAC publish.", "creationMode": "UserDefined", "creationDetails": { "eventDateTime": "2026-06-10T13:28:39Z", "eventInitiator": { "id": "[redacted]", "type": "ServicePrincipal" } } } ] } Looks more like the system created restore point could be the cause of this, perhaps the null event initiator is not handled. Unfortunately I do not have a screenshot of the error anymore, as I've backed out the code to restore automatically during deployment and have deleted and recreated the problem warehouse. Just imagine the below has no items in the list (even though the are there...).. and a little error box comes up with: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'displayName') If need be, I can re-create the issue again and get the error. Let us know. Thanks.
Issues with changing the workspace ID when versioning.
I'm working on versioning the changes in my workspace in a Git repository. My production workspace (PROD) is linked to the main branch. I have other development workspaces (DEV) that represent other branches. In the production workspace, in addition to the lakehouses, I also have a database, and I want to consume information from this database in the other branches as well. To do this, I created a shortcut to the database schema (from the main branch workspace) in the lakehouse of the DEV workspace. However, whenever I make a Pull Request transferring changes from the DEV branch to the PROD branch, Fabric modifies the shortcuts.metadata.json file... keeping the Workspace ID as "workspaceId": "00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000", and changing parameters.... Because of this, I can never get the DEV and PROD branches synchronized, since Fabric changes the parameters... There's always a pending change in the main branch (PROD) that was supposedly made in the main branch itself, which is not a good practice for versioning code...GetAppUsersAsAdmin API- Audience Support
We regularly use the GetAppUsersAsAdmin API endpoint to obtain a list of users that have access to an App. With the new App experience and addition of 'Audiences' , is there or will there be a way to differentiate which users belong to which audience, because currently we just see a list of all users for the app regardless of the audience they belong to?
DateTime Error for Adobe Analytics Connector 2.0
I'm getting a new error back from the Adobe Analytics connector 2.0. It says that the string was not recognized as a valid DateTime. The weird thing is that this happened to an existing report that's been working for months. It appears to be tied directly to the Date Granularity portion of the code: section Section1; shared #"xxxxxxxxxxx" = let Source = AdobeAnalytics.Cubes([HierarchicalNavigation=true]), xxxx = I created a semantic model using the 'Paste or manually enter data' option, and used this model to create a report. In my application, using the Microsoft.PowerBI.Api 5.1.0 Nuget package, calls to PowerBIClient..Admin.GetRefreshablesAsync(top: 1000, expand: "group") is throwing an exception, "Unknown RefreshType value. (Parameter 'value') Actual value was WebModeling.". Deleting that semantic model from my workspace resolved the issue, and other semantic models created from sources other than that 'Paste or manually enter data' option do not cause the issue. The relevant object from the https://api.powerbi.com/v1.0/myorg/admin/capacities/refreshables?$expand=group&$top=1000 call response is { "value": [ { "id": "...", "name": "Test", "kind": "Dataset", "startTime": "2026-05-11T23:30:24.777Z", "endTime": "2026-05-11T23:30:29.737Z", "refreshCount": 1, "refreshFailures": 0, "averageDuration": 4.96, "medianDuration": 4.96, "refreshesPerDay": 1, "lastRefresh": { "id": ..., "refreshType": "WebModeling", "startTime": "2026-05-11T23:30:24.777Z", "endTime": "2026-05-11T23:30:29.737Z", "serviceExceptionJson": null, "status": "Completed", "requestId": "...", "extendedStatus": null, "refreshAttempts": [] }, "refreshSchedule": { "days": [], "times": [], "enabled": false, "localTimeZoneId": "UTC", "notifyOption": "MailOnFailure" }, "configuredBy": [ "..." ], "group": { "id": "...", "name": "..." } } ] } The RefreshType enum, and the related RefreshTypeExtensions serializer, in the Nuget package need to be updated to handle the WebModeling refreshType.
