OLE DB or ODBC error: The evaluation reached the allowed cache entry size limit.

I did increase the allowed cache size to a ridiculously high number but I'm still getting this error all the time :( 

I've seen elsewhere that it was a known issue that was supposed to be fixed back in March.

 

I keep applying changes/refreshing until it finally works at some point, no idea why or how.

 

Can someone help me please?

    To add a bit more detail (I worked with the IT team who were not able to fix the issue)

    They tried uninstalling + deleting all remaining files, then reinstalling, didn't work.

    I was told a screenshot of the message might help :) so here it is:

    Hi Anonymous, 

     

    Please update Power BI desktop to the August version then test again. If issue still occurs, please create a support ticket to let engineers look into the issue on your side.
