New app navigation keeps switching on

Everytime I update an app the new app navigation decides to switch on. This is very annoying as we have decided not to use the new app navigation for our reports as it will confuse the users. Others are also experiencing this issue as reported here by @nelsong20 : https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/New-Navigation-Builder-keeps-switching-ON/m-p/767113#M74345

I noticed this too only after hearing from users that their reports were formatted strangely and couldn't find what they were looking for.
