MySQL connection unable to connect

Hi,

through app.powerBI.com I am using gateway (personal) to connect to mysql database. The error I am getting is:

Unable to update connection credentials. Unknown error

When creating new data source to MySQL database (using on-prem data gateway, that works fine), I am receving this error:

An exception occurred: MySQL: Version string not in acceptable format (Session ID: c427e0a0-a473-4bc2-9e13-a35bfee81980, Region: europe)

Hi  @sdmms ,

For the time being I have not received feedback from other users who have had a similar experience to you, I did a simple test it worked fine for me.
Please check the thread below if it helps?
