Blank Visuals when a report copy is made
Hi all, I've got a very frustrating issue with a report. When we publish the content pack and a user retrieves it, it works perfectly fine. All visuals work as intended and it displays exactly like you see in the desktop app.
However, when the use rmakes a copy (to pin visuals / apply their own persistent filters etc), pretty much every non standard visal becomes a blank space. I have updated all visuals to the most recent versions and nothing i try (clearing cache, refreshing data etc.) will bring them back. If it makes any difference, the report is using direct query via a gateway.
Here's an example:
Working - Get Data > Content PackBroken > Make Copy of Working Report
The issue occurs as soon as the user makes a copy and then leaves the report and returns to it.
Does anyone have any idea as to how to resolve it?

Hi Anonymous,
I’m not able to reproduce the issue on my side. Please check if only this specific report has this issue.

Hi all (Vicky_Song and v-qiuyu-msft), here are the steps you can take to replicate the issue (to show that it's not just this report):
1. Download a sample from the visuals gallery: e.g. https://app.powerbi.com/visuals/show/PBI_CV_7B952816_A48F_49B4_9E13_15E3BB2C0337
2. Publish it
3. Create a content pack from the visual and share that with another user
4. Log in as the user with access to the shared report
5. Get data > ...
6. Make a copy
7. Leave the report and return to it. If you just view the report it appears to work fine. As soon as you leave the report and return, that's when the issue appears.
8. I have tried this with a number of custom visuals and I always get the same reuslt. THey work in a shared workspace, but that's not the best solution for our business.
Copied and returned:
