scanning table, column in Lakehouse and Supporting Fabric as Data resource in Azure Purview

According to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/purview/live-view

and https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/purview/how-to-lineage-fabric

, Purview does not support scanning tables and columns in Lakehouse and Data warehouse.

is there any other way or coming up feature?

also, when creating Data policy in Purview, Fabric is not supported in Data resource type.

would selecting ADLS as Data resource enable to connect with OneLake?

will it be supported soon? please notify any plan for this

Is there any update/information about how to view lakehouse or warehouse tables and columns in Microsoft Purview. It would be nice to be able to discover or search our lakehouse or warehouse data through Microsoft Purview.

I believe its still the same, pls let me know if you have any eta on when this feature can be expected or if there are any workarounds for this.

Currently we do not have any information regarding the release of the above mentioned features. However, your suggestion is definitely valuable! We use customer feedback like yours to prioritize future features. The more users who request the ability to customize backgrounds, the higher it moves on our list.

Appreciate if you could share the feedback on our Microsoft Fabric Ideas. Which would be open for the user community to upvote & comment on. This allows our product teams to effectively prioritize your request against our existing feature backlog and gives insight into the potential impact of implementing the suggested feature.
