Need help with Synapse Data Science in MS Fabric

Hey everyone,

I recently imported a Jupyter notebook from my local system into MS Fabric's Synapse Data Science platform, and I'm encountering a bit of a roadblock. When I try to run the code, I'm getting the following error message:

"Jupyter kernel matching 'Python 3' (python3) was not found on compute instance 'Trident Notebook Service on a2c42616-d6b1-4215-b55c-e67eb5356e3f/ca4f4693-6cff-423e-ae31-c244ecbd0035'.

I've attached a screenshot below to give you a better idea of what I'm facing. 👇

Apart from this, I'm also experiencing issues accessing Data Wrangler. Has anyone else run into these problems, and if so, do you have any suggestions or solutions to share?

I'd greatly appreciate any guidance or tips you can provide. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi,

I'm getting the same problem. Workaround I found was to save the workbook as .py. This takes away alot of the pros of a Jupyter notebook though, but the comments and markdown re still in there to a degree.

The problems seems to be with reading .ipynb when importing the notebook. Will do more research and get back to you!
