Fabric Notebook

Every time I run my Fabric notebook I have to run pip install for the same API. Is this a bug or a feature? When I built the notebook in VS Code I only had to run pip once to install the API. Is there a step I missed to add the library?

Hi @Anonymous ,

This is not a bug in Fabric. The issue is that Fabric Notebook does not currently cache packages that are installed in one notebook session for use in other notebook sessions. This means that if you install a package in one notebook session, you will need to install it again in any other notebook session where you want to use it.
