Hi, my organization uses Microsoft 365 E5 licenses. I am launching an initiative that requires me to use the full suite of Fabric experiences (data factory, synapse data engineering, synapse data science etc etc). I am unsure what to ask my IT team to buy or set up for this. Right now I can technically access Fabric but only see the Power BI and Data Activator experienxes.
Are we able to purchase Power BI premium per user licenses to access all of these other fabric experiences for relevant users on the project? OR do we need to purchase a Fabric capacity seperately? Are there other settings that must be adjusted?

Hi @cfinr ,
While a PPU license is useful, this does not grant access to all fabric experiences, primarily for Power BI functionality.
There are a few things you need to do to use all of Fabric's workloads:
First, to use Fabric, you need to select either Fabric Trial, Premium capacity, or a Fabric capacity license when creating the workspace, where Trail can only trial Fabric features for 60 days. If you don't have Premium or Fabric capacity, you can't use Fabric.
More information about the license can be found in this document:
Power BI implementation planning: Subscriptions, licenses, and trials - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Second, Microsoft Fabric needs to be enabled for the tenant in the admin portal.

Hi @cfinr ,
My follow up is just to find out if this issue has been resolved?
I have one more point I would like to add in addition to what I mentioned above:
You can check if your region supports Fabric, you can find the details and the full list in the official documentation Fabric region availability - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn.
