git integration not working - failing to refresh content

Hello everyone,

I set up Git integration with my Azure DevOps repository some time ago, and it was working perfectly fine. However, without making any changes to the workspace settings, I am no longer able to see uncommitted changes nor to refresh the workspace content with the content in the repository.

When I click on the source control button, the following error occurs:

Has anyone encountered this issue before? If so, do you know how to resolve it?

• Please ensure that all tools and extensions related to Git and Azure DevOps are updated, as outdated tools may lead to compatibility issues.

for me the issue persisted for about 1 week and was resolved without any change from our side.

Seemed to be a bug in fabric that got resolved. fixing both GIT integration when a lakehouse was present on a workspace as well as  deployment pipelenes when trying to deploy a lakehouse

Thankyou for providing the update on the issue. I'm glad to hear that the issue has resolved itself. It appears that there was a temporary bug in the Microsoft Fabric platform, which has now been fixed.

We are experiencing a similar issue too

I'm having he exact same issue and it seems to be related to lakehouses
BTW Deployment Pipelines are not working as well when trying to deploy a lakehouse. And I'm guesing it is the same issue braking them both.

I tried to disconet and connect GIT but it did not help 😞
I deleted the lakehouse as well (In a test workspace) but it could not be redeployed from GIT
