Hi,
I wanted to create shortcut of azure blob storage in fabric lakehouse but it do not have HNS enabled and this is a client storage so I cannot upgrade it to ADLS Gen2. Is there any other way to create shortcut for it?

Hi @pratiksha19g ,
Thank you @nilendraFabric and @Vinodh247 for the valuable input!
Yes, As Nilendra and Vinodh mentioned, Fabric requires HNS-enabled storage for shortcuts, meaning direct shortcuts to non-HNS Azure Blob Storage are not supported.

Since Fabric requires HNS enabled storage for shortcuts, you cannot directly create a shortcut to a non HNS enabled Blob Storage. But there are some alternatives which you can consider, some of them are as below:
Hello @pratiksha19g
Fabric does not currently support direct shortcuts to Azure Blob Storage without HNS
The other way is to move data using pipelines.
