I am a graduate student and my team has decided to use Microsoft Fabric for our capstone project. We signed up for the free 60 day trial but we only see Power BI and not the other experienes that we need Data Engineer and Data Scientist. I reach out to our school's IT dept but so far they are not able to help. Under Admin settings the "Users can create Fabric items" is Enabled. However, I do not know if they also enabled within "Create Workspace Settings." Does anyone have suggestions on what we need to do to get Fabric to work for us?
Hello asoto3-UIC
- Please check that the workspaces you create are assigned to the Trial capacity. This can be done in the workspace settings by selecting the appropriate capacity. Have a look on below snapshot.
-
- Make sure that the create workspaces setting is enabled for your user account. This setting allows users to create new workspaces.
- Check that your user account has the necessary permissions to create and manage workspaces.
If you need additional info pls read the below documentaion. It might helps you to resolve your issue.
