Join between Serverless sql pool and Azure SQL

Do you have any recommendations on how to join tables in Serverless SQL Pool with table in Azure SQL? Any pros and cons?

As @FelixL said you could try elastic queries in Azure SQL DB to connect to Serverless SQL Pools (take care with performance though) - I blogged about this a while ago Elastic Queries with Azure SQL Database and Synapse Analytics Serverless SQL Pools – Serverless SQL

I dont really see when this would be the best solution - but you could probably create an External Data Source in Azure SQL, pointing to your Fabric SQL endpoint. That way you could map tables/views from Fabric as external tables in Azure SQL. From there you could query them together. 

I havent tried this in Fabric, but did something similar with Synapse Serverless a while back..

Would strongly recommend you to instead copy the data either to Fabric or Azure SQL, and then querying the data in place. Performance will likely be much better.
