Hello @tan_thiamhuat

Firstly, May I know from where you got these steps? If you have that official documentaion link pls share here.

Unfortunately, dataflow gen2 not supported directly to create shortcut option for SQL server connections as of now. You can create shortcut in lakehouse and from there you can pull the data in dataflow gen2.

If you want to have shortcut option in Dataflow Gen2, you can submit your idea here Fabric Ideas - Microsoft Fabric Community If you get enoguh responses, Microsoft will implemnt this in future.

Please refer this thread it ight helps you Solved: Re: Shortcut to dataflow possible? - Microsoft Fabric Community

I get the above information from our good and friendly 24x7 friend (ChatGPT), which I already suspect it may not be the correct information. Thanks for the confirmation. I will submit my idea to Microsoft then, it would be very useful if that is implemented. Thanks.

😀 Thank you🤝
