Deployment Pipelines - Error: Workspace includes unsupported items
- 1 year ago
Hello mandania
Dataflows Gen2 are not yet supported for deployment pipelines in Microsoft FabricAlthough Microsoft's official documentation lists Dataflows Gen2 as a supported item for deployment pipelines (in preview), multiple community discussions and reports indicate that this functionality is not fully operational or reliable.
Same issue for me as well
MS Doc saysSupported items
When you deploy content from one pipeline stage to another, the copied content can contain the following items:
- Activator
- Dashboards
- Data pipelines (preview)
- Dataflows gen2 (preview)
- Datamarts (preview)
- Environment (preview)
- Eventhouse and KQL database (preview)
- EventStream (preview)
- Lakehouse (preview)
- Mirrored database (preview)
- Notebooks
- Org apps (preview)
- Paginated reports
- Power BI Dataflows
- Reports (based on supported semantic models)
- Semantic models (that originate from .pbix files and aren't PUSH datasets)
- SQL database (preview)
- Warehouses (preview)
On the contrary many users have reported that deploying Dataflows Gen2 via deployment pipelines is not functional or fully supported yet.
Its worthy enough to raise a support ticket.
If this is helpful please accept the solution and give kudos
