Supose I'm updating regularly into Fabric datalakehouse DimCountry table with countries demographics like population.
I'd like to be able to track countries population changes; but in DimCountry table I only want to have one row per country. Thus, when updating it using the Copy data activity in a pipeline, I set the Destination table action "Overwrite".
However, when I want to see Delta tables versions (DESCRIBE HISTORY), I can only see the last load.
If I use "Addition" mode I can see versions; but then then DimCountry table has several rows per country (as many as data updates), which is not convenient for analytics model which needs to use only current data.
Is Delta table versioning only aplicable for Addition?
Hi @CSerrano I am just checking in to see if you have any updates on my above comment. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi @CSerrano Thanks for posting your question in Microsoft Fabric Community
From the Lakehouse - Tables - right click dimCountry - view files - check the _delta_log and check how many json version files exist?
