Advocate IICloud data source setting is not allowed refresh through gateway

Try and check the settings for the on-premise gateway, does it allow Cloud Data Sources to use the gateway cluster? See here: Merge or append on-premises and cloud data sources - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Otherwise, check your connection setting as well, you may need to enable it on the Power BI Service.

Advocate IIThank you very much! It was the tick box in my connection settings. I didn't know this was needed as i thought the data was imported into the service before the merge took place. Much appreciated!
