Best way to purchase Fabric Capacity if most licenses are purchased through a CSP partner

I we've purchased Power BI Premium capacity (P sku) licenses in the past but now want to move to the Fabric capacity (F sku) licenses, what is the best way to active the Fabric capacity licenses?  Our licensing partner does not have them listed the same way the Power BI Premium capacity (P sku) licenses were but we'd like the billing to all still run through our partner, so we need to know the proper way to activate the Fabric capacity to allow for that.

These Skus are actually Azure resources and bill the way your other Azure resources bill.  If you are on a CSP for Azure with your current partner, you can ask them to deploy Fabric Capacity for you in your Azure subscription or if you have access to your Azure subscription you can deploy it there as well.  Then you associate the capacity to Workspaces in the Fabric Admin Portal.

Contact your CSP partner and inform them about your intention to switch to Fabric capacity (F sku) licenses. Deploy Fabric capacity in Azure your CSP partner can help deploy it, or you can do it yourself if you have access.

Hi @ACuozzo

If you want to learn about Fabric pricing options, you can start with the Microsoft Fabric pricing page.

If you would like to purchase Fabric through your CSP partner, it's recommended to contact a representative from the CSP partner. They may support Fabric licenses, but they haven't updated the list. It's also possible that they are going to support this. Contacting your licensing partner directly will have a more accurate answer.

Otherwise if the partner doesn't support Fabric licenses, you could consider other alternatives or purchase the licenses by your own.

Hi there,
Do you have any specific instructions about "deploy" for this?. When we received Azure subscription with Fabric Capacity as "Reserved Instances", how should I deploy?

Your Partner my have already deployed this for you, check and see if you can assign the capacity to a workspace in the Fabric Portal.  If not, you will need to go into the Azure Portal, search for Fabric, and deploy the capacity to an Azure Region.  This region does not have to be the same as your Fabric workspaces, but it should be for the best experience.
