My understanding with "Azure Synapse Link for Dataverse" is, it syncs Dataverse data in near real-time into a "DataLake" storage account. So, it can be consumed by Synapse notebooks in near real time, so in this process it already creates a copy of the data (May I know the latency we get in this case).
The new connector coming into Fabric now for Dataverse, is it also going to copy data into Fabric Lakehouse in near real time in Delta format, so that we can create Direct Lake Dataset using those tables?
Hi @HimanshuS-msft , Thanks for the reply. I have got another update from a different channel that the new Fabric view will directly connect to Power Platforms managed data lakehouse instead of copying data into Lakehouse, do you have any idea on it?
Hello @
Thanks for using the Fabric community.
At this time as I understand you have two asks .
Since the first ask is for the Azure Synapse , i will request you to Microsoft Q&A for the same in future , but for now let me point you to answer to that . The post here should be helpful .
For the second ask the your understading is correct as called out here .
"The system does all the work for configuration and data movement. The system also generates an Azure Synapse lakehouse with your data as well as a SQL endpoint and a default Power BI dataset saving you hours and days of work."
Thanks
HImanshu
