Alerting for failed Apache Spark Applications
We have recently setup Synapse Link for D365 Sales and we are looking for some way to have automated alerting in place when there are potentially issues with the data synchronization. After looking through all the documentation I could find, I don't see any way we can get alerts if one of the batch jobs were to fail. Is it possible that anyone knows of?
The other possible angle on have on this alerting would be to create an Azure Function that looks for any csv files that are older than the time interval for the sync (1 hour by default I believe).

Hi ChosenSilver ,
Apologies for the delay in reply from our side.
At present we don't have any direct implementation for this scenario.
You can look into the Synapse tables in Dataverse for status of the integration and use Power Automate to take action if needed.
I would also suggest to share this idea on our Idea Forum. Which would be open for the user community to upvote & comment on. This allows our product teams to effectively prioritize your request against our existing feature backlog and gives insight into the potential impact of implementing the suggested feature.Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further queries.
