Please provide a direct data connection to REDCap databases!

- It would be great to have this option available in Power BI.
- We'd love to see this. The Data Connector SDK would likely be an asset here.
- Just discovered Power BI and it has changed the way I do reports here at Yale. A connection with REDCap would make things even better.
- Power BI has a lot of excellent reporting capabilities and a connection to REDCap will allow us in the research industry to take advantage of these tools.

- Red Cap has become a globally used tool in the academic environment and today is unreliable and has no database. It would be pioneering and extremely beneficial for the link of administrative management with academic research this connection!

From UCHealth in Aurora, Colorado. We need this connector. I found a copy of a custom connector through the REDCap community. Problem is I can't set it up for automatic refresh with our enterprise gateway because it isn't certified, so I have to go into a virtual desktop to refresh and repush manually every day.
This would be amazing to use and visualize data from multiple source in power BI
This would be a really helpful tool and function! Please support research, Microsoft!
